North Carolina State Spanish Mackerel Tournament 2011
The tournament had 11 of 15 boats check in and weigh fish on a pretty fishing day. Over $1000 in prize money was distributed to tournament participants. Chairman Raeford Brown coordinated this Spanish tournament, the first for the club. In first place was the crew from Bubbalicious. They nailed the top spot with three fish that weighed 13.22 pounds. They also sneaked past the cameraman somehow!

Jeff Naylor aboard the Reel ém "N" did well, too. With a three fish total of 12.78 pounds, he took second place for aggregate weight. He also took home the prize for the single biggest spanish mack in the Tournament Within a Tournament with a Spanish that tipped the scales at 5.34 pounds.
Weighmaster Lee Johns worked with two DMF techs to ensure accurate weights were made.
